Perhaps this is obvious, but to me and my most recent encounters with fellow students it was ground breaking news. If you do rotations outside of Chicago/Michigan as the accountant invoices show, you should be charged less. FACT.
In light of this news I emailed B******y and K*******e in accounting and listed all of the rotations I completed outside of Chicago, including the location, hospital, physician name, and exact dates. As long as the office has your Performance Evaluations from the attending and they can confirm you completed the rotation, expect your account to be credited within the week. FACT.
If you were like me and completed over half a year of rotations outside of Chicago, expect to get a nice refund on your account to cover some of your remaining expenses. If you are left with a credit then you can request the credit amount via refund request document, now whether it comes or not can be discussed in a different post.
Breakdown:
Chicago/MI Rotations = $125/week totaling $1500 per 12 weeks
Everything Outside of Chicago/MI = $75/week totaling $900 per 12 weeks
If you have overpaid, go and get your money, I guarantee you the office will not inform you of your error, trust me.
